Economics and Business Studies Teacher in Upper Secondary
Job Description
IPS Upper Secondary is looking to recruit a qualified, innovative, and dynamic Economics and Business Studies Teacher beginning the 2026/2027 school year – starting August 17th, 2026. The Teacher should be certified to teach upper secondary grades, have sound knowledge of lesson design and curriculum alignment, technology integration, and assessment. Knowledge and understanding of IGCSE and A Levels curriculum is beneficial, but not mandatory.

About the School
Founded in 2011, IPS quickly established itself as one of the top international schools in Wroclaw. IPS offers the beginning stages of education through its IPS Playschool, which serves students aged 2.5 – 4 years old. The IPS Primary School includes grades 1 – 5 and follows the Cambridge Primary programme. As students transition into the Lower Secondary of grades 6 – 8, the curricular focus continues with the Cambridge Lower Secondary programme. The Upper Secondary School provides students a high-quality education through the Cambridge curriculum, using the Cambridge IGCSE programme in grades 9 – 10 and Cambridge A Levels for grades 11 – 12. In addition, through the Student Responsibility Program, IPS offers students opportunities to cultivate relationships within the school, the local and global community.

Qualifications
- Licensed in Home Country / Recognised Teaching Certification or Postgraduate Qualification (such as a PGCE)
- Two years experience as a Economics and Business Studies Teacher
- Experience with IGCSE and A Level curriculum - Cambridge International Education Pathways (beneficial, but not required)
- Familiarity with Service Learning programs, social responsibility programmes, and/or Student Mentoring is helpful
- Experience in an international school setting is an advantage
