At the heart of our school’s Student Support Team is a simple promise: We listen, we support, we care. Our dedicated team works closely with students, families, and teachers to ensure every learner feels seen, heard, and understood. From emotional well-being to academic guidance, we’re here to provide a safe space and the support each student needs.Support may include one-on-one counseling, learning accommodations, or social skills development tailored to individual needs.
We focus on early intervention and proactive strategies to help students navigate challenges before they become obstacles.
Workshops and wellness programs are regularly offered to promote mental health, resilience, and personal growth.
At IPS, every student’s journey is supported with compassion, professionalism, and care.
Gifted and Talented Programme
The Gifted and Talented Programme at IPS is designed to provide educational opportunities that provide for the unique needs of students who demonstrate exceptional abilities or potential. In its core it provides instruction that goes beyond the standard curriculum. We offer a wide range of opportunities to our gifted and talented students including academic extension classes, sports activities or fine and performing arts classes.
Academic Support
Understanding each student’s learning profile is key to academic success. Using evidence-based tools, we assess strengths and challenges to create individualized learning plans. When formal evaluations are available, we develop a personalized IEP to meet each student’s specific needs. This ensures every learner receives the right support throughout their educational journey
English as a Second Language Program
Supporting non-native English students in the area of English as their Second Language ensures equal access to education, boosts academic success, and fosters confidence. It helps them integrate socially, enhancing both friendships and classroom participation.Strong English skills open future opportunities, while their diverse perspectives enrich learning for all. Providing ESL support and inclusive teaching helps every student thrive.
Support Programmes
IPS provides students with a variety of Pedagogical Support Programs, including:
- Pedagogical diagnoses, internal referrals, and cooperation with the Public Counselling Clinic.
- We also offer a Speech Therapy Program
- Dyslexia Prevention Program
- Multiple Intelligences orientation Program,
- Elements of sensory integration assessments at the Playschool level.
Our students receive individualized support, including access to our Special Education Needs Program. Parents are offered tailored workshops and counseling services.
